"Dutchess has the best ratio of education versus cost – I was able to afford tuition by myself, and the DCC campus is a lovely place, one of the best among two-year schools.

I selected the Business Administration Transfer major because I wanted to move on to a four-year school to get my bachelor's degree and then to a business school to get my MBA.

I was an active member of the Phi Theta Kappa international honor society, the president of Alpha Beta Gamma International business honor society and a member of the Dutchess men's basketball team. I performed a lot of community service such as a fundraiser to help fight breast cancer. I also was a tutor for different classes including math, statistics, accounting, business law, French and many others.

I had a great relationship with all of my teachers and the Student Services team. They always welcomed me in their office to talk about class and other issues I might have had. They really helped me throughout my time here.

At DCC, I was surrounded by good people who helped me focus and achieve my goal, which was to graduate and move on to the next level of my education."
